Our dedicated crews are equipped to handle the many types of concrete forms and applications that suit your need. From residential and commercial projects, to any type of government contract our experienced professionals execute with precision and an orientation to detail.

FAQ’s on Concrete Forming.

The formwork is built on site out of timber and plywood or moisture-resistant particleboard.

This formwork is built out of prefabricated modules with a metal frame (usually steel or aluminum) and covered on the application (concrete) side with material having the wanted surface structure (steel, aluminum, timber, etc.).
These interlocking and modular systems are used to build widely variable, but relatively simple, concrete structures.
This formwork is assembled on site, usually out of insulating concrete forms (ICF).
This formwork is assembled on site, usually out of prefabricated fiber-reinforced plastic forms.
In contrast to the rigid molds described above, flexible formwork is a system that uses lightweight, high strength sheets of fabric to take advantage of the fluidity of concrete and create highly optimized, architecturally interesting, building forms.

Modular Construction and Scaffolding

Scaffolds are widely used on site to get access to heights and areas that would be otherwise hard to get to. Scaffolding is also used in adapted forms for formwork and shoring, grandstand seating, concert stages, access/viewing towers, exhibition stands, ski ramps, half pipes and art projects.

FAQ’s on Modular Construction.

Tubes are usually made either of steel or aluminium; The tubes come in a variety of lengths and a standard diameter of 48.3 mm.

Couplers are the fittings which hold the tubes together. The most common are called scaffold couplers, and there are three basic types: right-angle couplers, putlog couplers and swivel couplers.

Boards provide a working surface for scaffold users. They are seasoned wood and come in three thicknesses (38 mm (usual), 50 mm and 63 mm) are a standard width (225 mm) and are a maximum of 3.9 m long.

These are Tube and Coupler (fitting) components, prefabricated modular system scaffold components, H-frame / facade modular system scaffolds, timber scaffolds.
Good foundations are essential. Often scaffold frameworks will require more than simple base plates to safely carry and spread the load. Scaffolding can be used without base plates on concrete or similar hard surfaces, although base plates are always recommended.

Building Construction and Revitalization

With the many types of concrete forms, our dedicated crews are equipped to handle applications that suit your need. From residential and commercial projects, to any type of government contract, our crews tackle all jobs with precision and an orientation to detail.

FAQ’s on Building Revitalization.

If you are in the city limits, you will need a building permit. This means that you will need building plans. Be prepared to invest in a good set of plans. Connect with us today for consultation on your plans.

When you are applying for a development application, there are a number of steps you should take to help the process go as quickly and smoothly as possible.

  • Check the zoning and relevant bylaws
  • Ask for a referral to a Development Planner
  • Bring all of the required documents and drawings with you when you apply
  • Pay the application fee
Sometimes your plans will not be the most efficient way of doing things, and a little input from your contractor can save you a lot of money.

A concrete pump is a machine used for transferring liquid concrete by pumping. Connect with us for specifications.

Full Performance Bond Support

Performance bonds are a legal agreement in which the surety guarantees that a contractor or principal will perform the obligations according to the established plans and specifications of the contract.

FAQ’S on Performance Bonds

Performance Bonds offer a guarantee that project work will be performed according to the defined terms and conditions of the contract. Performance Bonds provide monetary compensation to the project owner in the event that a contractor defaults in some manner, and causes the project to suffer a loss. Contractor default may ensue for a variety of reasons, including project mismanagement, lack of financial capital, even contractor insolvency. In most cases, a recognized Surety Company issues the Performance Bond on the request of a contractor (known as the principal), and when a new job contract is being signed with a project owner (known as the obligee).

To determine whether or not a contractor qualifies for performance bonds, the surety will look to the 3 “C´s” of credit.

Character: Does the contractor have a good track record, good references and integrity?
Capacity: Does the contractor have sufficient cash flow to service the job and to weather potential delays in payment? Is a line of credit in place, in case of emergency?
Capital: Does the contractor have a strong net worth position?

Fully Insured and Certified

Making sure you hire an appropriately licensed, insured and bonded contractor may seem like an extra work, but it all adds up to helping ensure that you and your interests are protected, and gives you more assurance that you’re working with reliable, reputable professionals.

FAQ’s on insurance and certification.

This means we have the business license, the proper insurance and have made payments to a surety company for protection by a bond. The insurance company or surety company will be responsible for covering any financial losses.

There are two common types: liability insurance and workers’ compensation.

Liability insurance covers such situations as contractor-caused damage to your property, although it doesn’t typically pay for repairing or replacing shoddy work. That is the reason for the bond.

Workers’ compensation provides payment to injured workers for lost wages and medical services, regardless of who was at fault. Workers’ compensation coverage will also provide benefits to the contractor’s family in the event of a work-related death.
